Judgement day for roccat

Our second interview is with leading Finnish team, roccat.
The countdown continues with only 6 days to go and next in line for an HLTV.org interview is team roccat.
The top Finnish team came 4th at ESWC masters securing themselves a qualifying spot for the finals, however at other tournaments have not looked as threatening as perhaps expected. With only a 2nd spot at Dreamhack summer to boast about it still remains unclear whether roccat are ready for the challenge that the ESWC Finals will present.
To see what the team thought about our views we caught up with Tino "tih0p" Puumala. Unfortunately the team are busy with their preparations so the interview was a little short but nonetheless here it is:
The ESWC finals are here, one of the most glamourous events of the year to win. How have you prepared for the event?
We haven't played a lot lately and couple of our guys are on vacation now so we will prepare by playing online for a couple of days once everybody's back to home.
You are the top team in Finland, however you have not really challenged the top spot in the recent events you have played at. How do you plan to change this?
2nd place at Dreamhack and 4th place at ESWC Masters are quite okay results with such a little time of preparing. We just gotta bring our A-game for the most important matches and keep performing better and better throughtout the tournament.
In the pre-event training how does roccat prepare tactics and improve the overall teamwork?
Nothing special.. Just watch out the new tactics for each map and try if they work on pcws later as many time as possible.
At the Finnish WCG qualifier we saw Soltec upset 4Kings in the run to the final, do you see Finnish teams improving recently?
Yes. I didn't expect Soltec to take the 2nd spot over 4kings. Some of the Finnish teams have become a lot better what they used to be.Who would you most like to play in the tournament and why?
Would like to win mTw just because they are The Number One we lost to them last time at ESWC Masters.Who do you think will finish in the top 3 and do you think this year's Grand Finals will be a close tournament?
Roccat, mTw, fnatic/SK/MYM - Really hard to say if it's going to be a close one, hope so.
The roccat team attending the finals includes:
Niko "naSu" Kovanen
Samu "plastE" Aalto
Max "ruuit" Aspe
Juuso "contE" Sajakoski
Tino "tihOp" Puumala
There we have it, another day and another interview. Remember to stay tuned for more pre-event coverage. If you missed the first interview in the series just follow the link below.
